Wireless DMX Systems
ANTENNA is a wireless DMX system which employs the W-DMX technology.
ANTENNA represents a true innovation in comparison with other wireless DMX systems, because it employs the
adaptive FHSS standard instead of the commonly used W-LAN standard.
The W-LAN standard uses xed channels without hopping, so it has a much bigger risk for interference from other
competing local wireless networks.
The FHSS standard instead uses 83 discrete frequency channels, checking every millisecond for interference free
transmission.
Transmission:
ANTENNA DMX Transmitters in standard conguration can transmit data to 512 DMX
channels.
* In Multi-cast each ANTENNA Transmitter sends data to a dedicated ANTENNA Receiver: this conguration is
particularly useful when you want to control many units totally wireless.
* Point-to-point transmission is ideal when you have to bridge a long distance from the console to the rst xture of
a lighting system, which is connected to the other units by standard DMX cables.
Reception:
ANTENNA DMX Receivers receives data transmitted over 512 DMX channels.
ANTENNA wireless DMX systems are available in a range of compact and lightweight units tailored for distinct ap-
plications: Standard, Rack Mountable, Outdoor (IP65), Plug-in (LITE), Retrot card.
ANTENNA also includes a choice of omni-directional antennas and directional panels, for maximum exibility of use.
